2022 NC State Open Checker Tournament     What: The 132nd North Carolina State Open         7 rounds - 4 Friday & 3 Saturday  • 2 games per rd • 2½ hour rounds • 1 opening, using the        156 ballot deck • may request time clock • 2 Divisions: $30 Master, $25 Majors entry fees        ACF Sanctioned / Rated Tournament • ACF membership required which may be purchased        at registration • Prize Fund ≈ $1,250, door prize, trophies, plaques • Winner or the highest        finishing NC resident will be recognized as the 2022 NC State Checker Champions        Where: Quality Inn, 10123 N. Main Street, Archdale, NC, 27263 When: Friday & Saturday – May 13th & 14th, 2022 Registration: Friday 8:00-9:00am, NCCA business meeting follows Entry Fee: $20.00   Play begins at 9:00 am 7 rounds of 3-move: 2 (1:15 hour) games each (1 opening) using 156 ballot deck Swiss pairing with single repairing if necessary  /  4 rounds per Friday , 3 rounds Saturday / may use time clock /  ACF Sanctioned  /  Rated Tournament   /  Winner or highest finishing NC resident will be recognized as The 2022 NC State Champion.
